Speed, width & Performance: ready for the future
One of the NAFTA region’s top film suppliers, Treofan Mexico based in Zacapu, will satisfy the growing demands in the region with a new high performance line for specialty films as well as cost-effectively produced packaging and label films. To fulfill these challenging market demands Brückner and Treofan designed a tailor-made line layout, capable to produce special thin films, label applications and high barrier packaging films.
The line has all the features inside that today’s state-of-the-art technology can provide: 10.4m working width, latest multi-layer design, flexible surface treatment stations and a production speed of 600m/min. This challenge will be achieved using Brückner’s latest high-speed track system, perfectly designed for next generation’s superior film orientation: extended life time, easy maintenance and unrivaled sliding performance.
Allan Crighton, COO Treofan Americas, emphasizes: "We are really happy to cooperate with Brückner once again, building on the experience gained with the 8.2m, 5-layer Brückner line, which has now been running very successfully for almost ten years”. And Jon Knight, CEO Treofan Americas, said: "The advanced capacity and capabilities will enable us to continue to grow with our valued customers in our key markets."
The Treofan Group is a leading global manufacturer of biaxial oriented polypropylene films (BOPP) for packaging, label, tobacco and technical applications.
